Using Art To Sell Luxury Homes The Road Less Traveled - Unique Homes. |
Unique marketing event puts the spotlight on this Gallatin Fishing Paradise (event details).
This Gallatin River paradise has attracted not only potential buyers, but also has a history of gaining attention from the film and entertainment industries. In 1992, the property hit the big screen when the final scene of the movie A River Runs Through It was filmed here. Veranda magazine also featured the property on the cover of a 2000 issue.
When it came time to market and promote this beautiful river-front property, Vivian Bridaham was inspired by the property's ties to the film industry and planned the ideal "coming out" party for the home's listing.
In addition to traditional marketing efforts including a broker tour, property brochure, and several ads, Vivian worked with the owners to develop a unique event that re-connected the property and the film industry. Through Vivian's marketing and networking efforts, this property became the official venue for the local HatchFest film festival VIP party and marked the opening celebration for the annual event honoring student filmmakers from around the world.
At the event held in early October, 200 guests- including student filmmakers, Hatch executives, entertainment industry executives, community members, local business owners, vacation home owners and real-estate agents- descended on this beautiful river-front property. They ate, drank and danced until past midnight as the year's first snowfall descended on the trees and mountains, creating a spectacular winter scene.
The event even brought Patrick Markey back to the location where 13 years ago he produced the final scene of A River Runs Through It. During the party, he ventured out to one of the decks overlooking the river where he reunited and reconnected with the property that helped bring A River Runs Through It to life.
Utilizing her vast network and with careful attention to every last detail, Vivian helped make this event a success for the film festival and the property owners.
The party was a perfect showcase for the home and brought many people- including potential buyers or friends of potential buyers- to the property who likely wouldn't have otherwise visited.
